TOKYO, JAPAN, September 22, 2020 – Ricoh today announced a new subscription pricing option for RICOH ProcessDirector™, an award-winning, scalable workflow automation solution. With multi-year subscriptions available, this new pricing program significantly decreases upfront costs for customers looking to streamline operations, improve process integrity, reduce errors, and drive production efficiencies with RICOH ProcessDirector. This subscription pricing option lowers the initial cost of access to this powerful, vendor-neutral solution. It will be available on October 1, 2020 in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and will be offered in other countries in the coming months.
“As communications providers adapt to the new world of work, a robust tool like RICOH ProcessDirector is invaluable,” said Chris Reid, VP Software & Services, Ricoh Global Marketing Group. “Our customers have told us that they’re looking for more efficient, automated and integrated processes, along with increased visibility for ongoing assessment and improvement. RICOH ProcessDirector can help do all of this and more, and we wanted to provide more flexibility in how a customer can acquire this software—either subscription-based or as a perpetual license— to fit their individual business needs. This is another proof point of our partnership commitment to continuously enhance our production print portfolio based on our customers’ needs.”
The flexibility theme continues with the release of RICOH ProcessDirector version 3.9 in early November 2020, when RICOH ProcessDirector will be Cloud-ready further improving its scalability and flexibility, including the ability to be hosted in a customer-managed virtual environment and more aggressively scanning for security risks. Additional enhancements include improved data collection and reporting capabilities, new custom data portlets and administrator and operator productivity improvements. A new low-cost inserter feature enables connecting to a reduced volume inserter, making it ideal for small-to-midsized operations. These enhancements, combined with the new subscription pricing option, make RICOH ProcessDirector more accessible to a wider array of organizations with varying workflow and communication needs.
RICOH ProcessDirector is a proven, vendor-neutral workflow management solution designed to securely capture, transform and manage information to help businesses address workflow challenges, tracking and tracing needs, compliance and audit requirements, workflow automation, postal optimization, output management, integration of disparate systems and multi-channel delivery needs.
Availability of the new RICOH ProcessDirector pricing program and enhancements varies by country.
